Susan Einarsson’s long career in media saw her involved in print, radio news anchor, talk show host, television production, music and stage. She worked as a news anchor and news talk show host, reporter, television series producer and narrator. She has written two theatrical plays: “On the Air”, one-woman show and “Cupid’s in Love”, a full length rom-com musical. The recipient of the Canadian New Talent Award for Country Music, Susan has recorded two full length original music albums – “Cougar Jones”, and the soundtrack to “Cupid’s in Love”. She is a painter and photographer, adventurer, mother, grandmother and friend. “The True Adventures of Suzy Q” is a humorous memoir about her own adventures. Her recent documentary, Our City Our Choice and follow up community action short film, Sex drugs and the girl next door both focus on the damage done to society by lenient government policies on drug use and lack of mental health care.
Susan assisted Mike Morden with policy messaging media in his successful bid to become Mayor of Maple Ridge in 2018. Her interview with Mayor Morden on the homeless camp and standoff with the Provincial Government Minister of Housing received national exposure. She served on the Board of the Federal Conservative Electoral District Association in Maple Ridge for several years and produced the majority of leadership campaign material for local Member of Parliament Marc Dalton in his party leadership bid.
